Maui Vacation

For the first week of summer, my family and Jacob and I decided to go to Maui, Hawaii! It used to be an annual trip when I was younger, maybe about five years old, but we havnt’t been since then and it is one of our favorite places to be! We stayed at the Montage at Kapalua in a family friend’s place which was so nice! It had three bedroom, four bathrooms and we could all have our own bed and space! It was seriously the most beautiful place to stay. The pool had tons of little rock caves and bridges so it was like a ton of little private pools but it was all still one pool!

We spent a lot of time at the beach just laying out, snorkeling, and swimming! There was a beach right at the hotel or we could take a little walk to a more private beach that I really liked!

We even went back to the place we would stay every year almost 15 years ago, Kahana Sunset! It was so weird being back and seeing all the changes, especially being there with my new husband and realizing how much has changed since we were last there! There are definitely so many memories there and it was special to be able to relive some of them and watch the sunset.

One day, we took the journey down to the Road at Hana. We dint drive all the way down to the end, but we stopped at a few waterfalls, a little snack shack, and even a black sand beach!

We even stopped at this really cute juice truck and fruit market called Olowalu Juice Stand. They had all kinds of juices and we got pineapple juice inside a pineapple!

The trip was just so relaxing and fun, I already miss it. I remembered liking Hawaii when I was younger but I seriously think it is my new favorite place. I already want to plan another trip!
