Trip to Magnolia Market

Over New Years week (I know it was forever ago, but I am still catching up on posts from before the wedding) we went to visit family in Waco, Texas! Most of you are familiar with this location because of the recent rise of Chip and Joana Gaines! I have loved Chip and Jo since the very first episode and I was thrilled at the opportunity to visit family and also get to tour the magnolia market and silos!

Our first stop was Common Grounds coffee of course, then we made our way to the hotel to get situated. We surprised my grandpa for his birthday that night and went to bed early to be up at 4 in the morning for the Magnolia Table breakfast! It was extremely hard to get up, but there was little to no wait for a table and we got there right when it opened. Our food came quickly and we enjoyed our time taking photos and eating the yummy meal!

We then went over to the silos to get in line at the bakery. We again were there when it opened. There was a line but since we were one of the first people in, the wait wasn’t long at all. We got some cupcakes, took some more photos and then waited in line again for the shop! It was freezing in December, especially for us Californians, but the wait was worth it. We walked through the shop, got some t-shirts and decor pieces and headed back to visit family!

Visiting the silos was so so fun and I am glad we got to do it. You can definitely do everything in a weekend and it would make for such a fun weekend getaway if you havnt’t been!
