I started making youtube videos about 2 years ago just for my family vacations and trips with friends and it became something I really started to enjoy. I loved filming the clips and putting them together in a creative way to music to look back on and remember! I recently branched out a bit with my boyfriend and started a blog channel, which if you don’t know what it is they are videos just about everyday life kind of like home videos for everyone to see. I have really enjoyed putting them together and you can click a link here to view the channel!
I also have a personal channel which I will link here that I do a variety of different videos. I have done a haul videos and some fun challenge videos and I plan to do some fun baking ones in the future! so go check those out and subscribe if you can it would really mean a lot. I really put a lot of my energy and creativity into these videos so I hope you can enjoy them!
Cross & Co. Studios:
starting these youtube channels really made me realize that I can turn these talents of mine into a job. and my boyfriend and I took these talents and turned it into our own little business. we have a handful of weddings scheduled this summer to film along with some business videos. Videography has already given us amazing opportunities to film for SeaWorld, travel to Alaska, and also travel to Hong Kong and Taiwan in late July! I am so blessed to be doing what I love and make money doing it and I cannot wait to see where it takes me.
I encourage you to really pursue what sets your heart and fire and what you are passionate about. There is nothing better than doing what you love especially with amazing people. You can check out some videos we have made here and I’m sure there is plenty more to come.
when I went to my first homecoming 4 years ago, I don’t think I had any idea how fast time would go by and I would be 18 and going to my last high school dance… literally I think I blinked and I was already finishing senior projects and thinking about college. Senior Prom really did come quickly, and I was so excited (having the best date EVER!) to get and create these last memories.
we went and got our boutonnière and corsage picked out (bringing in a Pinterest picture for reference of course) and I had to take in every moment knowing it would be my last time. my last time picking out a fancy dress, finding heels that match, deciding how to do my hair, and where to take pictures beforehand. it was all so sentimental but relieving.
personally I do love getting dressed up and going to a fancy event every once and a while, but it can also be a stressful and almost anxious experience for me as well. I get caught up in trying to make every decision perfect and make everything fit together perfectly. but this time I told myself I wouldn’t let that happen and I would go with the flow. and amazingly everything came together so amazing! I found my dress months early in the right size on just a regular shopping day, had some amazing people offer for us to take pictures with them at the Carlsbad Flower Fields, found shoes that were titled with my name and in my size, and had another friend willingly offer to do my makeup! things literally could not have happened more spontaneously, and although it didn’t take away from the busy time of it all, I still remained calm and took in every possible moment to store away in my memory.
the night was full of amazing memories with some of my closest friends. we danced the night away, ate until we felt like exploding and had the best time. the night was unforgettable and I’m so excited for what is coming in the future.
check out the video I made from prom also on my youtube (Jacob + Kylie)!
