diy "xoxo" Valentine's Day sign
growing up, my family never made a big deal of Valentine's Day. I don't know if that is what sparked my love for the day or if it was hearts everywhere and the feel of pink and red colors that created my love for the holiday. I decided that I wanted to make my little room a bit more festive for the day so I tried this super easy diy to bring valentines day into my room.
it has been a while since I have done a diy project, and this one is maybe one of the easiest. all you need is:
- pink, red, and/or white paper
- scissors
- twine/string
- mini wood clothespins
First, either draw a stencil X and O, or print some out in a font that you like and cut them out.
Then, alternating colored paper in whatever order you want, cut out as many Xs and Os you want.
cut your twine to desired length and hang on wall with tape or nails (I used nails).
pin up your Xs and Os with the clothespins and enjoy!
This can be a super easy craft to do with kids or friends as you chat and munch on Valentine's Day snacks. If you try out this diy make sure to tag us @shop.grownwithgrace. we would love to see how yours turn out!
