 DIY Christmas Ornaments

DIY Christmas Ornaments

My family always has a craft day the day after Thanksgiving. Were all tired and ready for Christmas to be in full swing so we usually make something Christmas related. This year we made these really cute and easy Christmas ornaments. They are so professional looking and are seriously so fun.

What you need:

  • ornaments you can see through
  • fake snow
  • tiny wreaths or little jingle bells
  • string
  • large bowl
  • glue gun
  • scissors

How to

To make them, first you take out an ornament and your large bowl. you want it to be big enough to fit your hands inside like a salad bowl. Then pour the snow into the bowl and sprinkle the snowing the ornament until it is about 1/3 to 1/2 full depending on how you want it. Next take out your wreath to put into the ornament. You will have to squish it around to make it able to fit in the hole. Then squeeze it in the hole and make the string does not go all the way inside. Then get out your gluten to put a dot of glue onto the lid of you ornament. Let the dot dry a bit so you can use your finger to push the sting into the glue (you'll want to check and see how high you want the wreath to hang inside the ornament before you glue it). Then I put a little more glue on top of the other glue just to make sure it stays and cut the extra string off. then put the lid on the ornament and cut whatever kind of string you want for the ornament to hang on. And you're done! These make really cute hostess gifts or crafts to do with friends! I even bought a gold pen to write the year on some of mine and they turned out really cute!
