Mint Must-Haves
Getting in the festive spirit is one of my all time favorite things to do, and the everyday items I use play a big part in making me feel festive. So I decided to show you all my favorite mint-y items I use pretty much daily. Although they can technically only be used this time of year, they all also make great stocking stuffers and little gifts to use year-round! So here are my favorite mint and candy cane things and I hope you try some of them out and fine one you enjoy!
The first item on my mint favorite list is Bath & Body Work's Mint Drop body wash. This is a new scent to their holiday line and I absolutely loved it right away. I use it every time I am in the shower and it smells so festive and fresh. It is the perfect wake-me-up scent and also has that holiday touch as well.
Next on the list is a food item. It would not be a good mint favorite list without some kind of sweet treat. These Mint M&Ms are my absolute favorite December night snack. I try not to buy too many bags of them because I think I would actually become a mint M&M if I ate any more. They are the perfect mix of chocolate and mint and it is one of the first things I buy every year to put out for guests and myself.
The next mint thing is the EOS Mint lip balm. This is definitely something I secretly use year round, but around this time of year it feels extra special to use it. Especially with all the dry air and chapped lips and skin, I have enough of these lip balms for every purse I could ever carry and I am not upset about it at all. It is such a smooth formula and again makes the perfect gift for the chapstick addict in the family.
Yes, you guessed it, the list of course has a candle on it! This candle is the Paddywax Mistletoe + Mint candle. I received this as a gift and absolutely love it! It's such a small cute candle but I am scared to burn it in case it melts too fast! I know I know I can just order a new one, but I am one of those people who saves stickers just waiting for the perfect place to use them.. and the same goes for this candle. One day soon I will probably give in and just order another one when it goes out, but until then I'll just sniff it 24/7.
Next is the duo to the body wash I mentioned earlier. The Mint Drop soap is the exact same scent as the body wash and the packing is just too adorable. Having festive soap for guests and using myself is something that just makes the season feel so much more fragrant and fun!
A lotion is next on the list but sadly this lotion is sold out. However the same scent in the body wash Philosophy Candy Cane body wash is as close as it can get. The scent is the exact same and let me tell you it is amazing. It smells like an actual candy cane is under your nose. If you're looking for the most festive christmasy thing here then this is definitely it.
Lastly, and one of my personal favorites is the Burt's Bees Peppermint lip balm. This lip balm was my favorite the minute I used it. It is the perfect peppermint scent and is so super smooth on my lips. It fixes a chapped lip overnight and I keep it in my wallet because I NEVER want to be without it. I could see this possibly being something I continue to use after the holidays...
