Day Trip to Palm Springs

With most spring breaks coming to a close, it was so needed to get away for a day on a little road trip! My aunt lives up in Palm Springs and my family decided to take a quick trip to visit! So we packed everyone in the car and drove! I feel like Palm Springs is where everyone decides to go over Spring Break because it is just so sunny and warm and fun to make a little trip of it! It was especially nice to escape the cloudy and gloomy weather San Diego has been having this whole week and get into some sun for once! 

While we were there for the day we also did a bit of site seeing and adventuring! The first place we stopped was for coffee, of course, at a place called Customs coffee. It is a part of this super cute hotel/resort so we walked around the pool a bit also! Next time we come it would be such a cool place to stay! Next we did a little walking around to take some pictures of course and look around! We stopped for coffee round two at the cutest place called Ernest Coffee and they had the cutest seat cushions with palm leaves and plants hanging on the walls! Finally, our last stop was this amazing homemade ice cream shop called Ice Cream and Shop(pe). I got rose water ice cream and Jacob got the vegan vanilla and they were both SO GOOD! I definitely want to go back next time I am there! We had a really fun time with family and site seeing and it was definitely a much needed day-off!
