last day: puppies & portraits

on our last day in Alaska we took another mini road trip back to Anchorage. we stopped to dogsled with the champion Iditarod team the Seavey dogs. these dogs have won this famous dogsledding race many years and it was such a crazy experience to learn about them and the race and get to be pulled by them myself! it was definitely once in a lifetime opportunity.

while there we also got to hold the 6 week old husky puppies!!! they were seriously the cutest ever! ours had super light blue eyes that were gorgeous and it just slept in my arms. they were just adorable.

then we stopped at Alyeska resort for one of the most amazing views I had ever seen. we took a sky tram up to the top of the mountain and the views were nothing like I had ever seen before. you could see mountains still covered in snow and bodies of water that were the home to many beluga whales. it is now probably one of my favorite places. just so peaceful and beautiful. highly recommend it.
