PROM 2016

This school year has marked a lot of firsts for me. It's one of the first years where I am comfortable with who I am and I'm not afraid to be that person. Earlier years in high school for me were marked with a lot of insecurities and confusion, but I am happy now to have reached a point in my life where I no longer feel that way. High school is a time to have fun and make memories, and I don't want theses years to be remembered by "whats ifs" and "should haves".... One of my favorite firsts this year was Prom. It was a first to go to a huge event like this with a huge amount of people and feel at ease. I kept in the mindset of taking in every moment and every minute as it came, and it helped greatly. I only get two proms in my life and I wanted to not just let it pass by so quickly, but to take it in, relax, and actually have a good time. And I am so happy I did. It definitely was a night to remember (no High School Musical pun intended:)), and the people I had around me greatly impacted that. Thanks to those who were at my side and made the night so enjoyable. Until next year!
