So, to say the least, it has been a long while since I last posted. These past couple months have been the craziest days and weeks of my whole life. Starting my Etsy shop and doing craft shows were only the beginning. On top of trying to finish my Senior year of high school and playing a varsity sport, I have also been making weekly videos for my school, squeezing in time with my boyfriend, and attempting to keep up with life. Thankfully it has been nothing but good things keeping me busy, but I now have a complete understanding of the saying “don’t spread yourself too thin”. So I apologize for the lack of content on this site.
If you follow me on Instagram, you will know I did two craft shows through the Holidays: one for family and friends and the other at Brick in Liberty Station. Both were in the span of two weeks, and lets just say I barely had time to brush my own teeth. Okay, maybe I am exaggerating a bit, but seriously I was non-stop making inventory and planning. Both went well and beyond what I had imagined, and the day after was probably one of the best moments of relief and joy I have ever felt. It was a moment of excitement to now enjoy the holidays and also to be proud of all the hours and hours of hard work that had gone into making it all happen.
The craft shows were great learning experiences, and I definitely plan on doing more in the future. But, for now, I am enjoying my last months of school and taking some time off.
And as for New Year’s Resolutions.. I am definitely someone who does not stick to any resolutions after about a week. But, every year I still make them and attempt to carry them out. This year, I plan on having Sunday blog posts every week, and I know it’s a bit crazy, but I have faith I can do it. Also this new year I am going to set aside 30 minutes everyday for some phone-free, laptop-free journaling/Bible time. I spend so much time on social media and other sites that I know I can shave off 30 minutes to write abut my day and spend some time in the Word. Let’s see if I can do it for more than a week this year.
