Valentine’s Day // Part 1

Being single on Valentine’s Day can be hard to make it something look forward to (and I’m sure some of you are in the same boat as me on this one). But, with a good breakfast on the table and a good playlist playing, it can be made something I actually enjoy. If Valentine’s Day is depressing and lonely for you, find something you really enjoy doing that genuinely makes you happy. Maybe it’s getting your nails done, going to the spa, getting together with girlfriends, or just eating as much as you want. For me, making a fun breakfast, crafting some cards, and listening to some sappy music is the ideal way to spend this single-awareness holiday. Take time to think about all the people you are lucky to love in your life and make sure to tell them. Maybe even make a card for them or do something extra-ordinary. Everyone enjoys knowing they are loved and it will make you realize how blessed you are to have them in your life. So below are some of my favorite sappy Valentine’s Day songs if you need some inspiration for your day next week.
